How To Use Vibrofeel

QUICK START GUIDE

  • Check all the accessories with Main unit, Probe and power cable.
  • Now connect the power cable with Unit as well as at mains power plug.
  • Connect hand piece probe to the main unit’s output socket.
  • Long Press Power button which will glow in Blue color & Beep Sound when power on.
  • Place the hand piece at the desired point.
  • Press Up & Down the button for increase the intensity.
  • Press reset button reset the intensity to zero 
  • You can stop the output by pressing the check button on the unit or at the hand piece.

METHOD OF APPLICATION

  • Clean the skin by tissue paper or cotton, preferably wet cotton.
  • Position the patient in such a way that the application area is well visualized and patient can  sit or lay down during the treatment. The ease of patient is of utmost importance.
  • Bring the machine near the patient.
  • Switch on the machine.
  • Put the hand probe vibration point at the desired foot point and increase the power in Volts.
  • Ask the patient when he/she start feeling the vibrations and press the check button to  confirm it.
  • Once confirmed, record the reading.
  • Do the same procedure at all the points and record the readings.
  • At each time the vibration perception threshold is recorded in the format given below, at each point in both feet. 

INTERPRETATION

UP to 40 years:
  • •Below 10 Volts - Normal
  • •Between 15 and 20 Volts - Mild Neuropathy (Mild Loss of Sensation)
  • •Between 19 and 25 Volts - Moderate Neuropathy (Moderate Loss of Sensation)
  • •Above 25 Volts - Severe Neuropathy (Severe Loss of Sensation)

Above 50 years:
  • •Below 15Volts - Normal
  • •Between 16 and 20 Volts - Mild Neuropathy (Mild Loss of Sensation)
  • •Between 21 and  25 Volts - Moderate Neuropathy (Moderate Loss of Sensation)
  • •Above 25 Volts - Severe Neuropathy (Severe Loss of Sensation)
  • •This above interpretation is not accepted by all but everyone accepts more than 25 Volts is considered as severe loss of Sensation for all age group termed as abnormal.
